王向东，籍贯浙江东阳，1976年出生。高级工艺美术师，浙江省工艺美术大师。中国工艺美术学会木雕艺术专业委员会会员。全国轻工行业劳动模范，金华市青年岗位能手。浙江东阳木雕集团有限公司总经理，浙江省东阳市黄派木雕研究所所长。先后主持或参与浙江省人民大会堂、重庆市委礼堂、天津迎宾馆、上海东郊国宾馆、苏州东山国宾馆、上海静安寺、杭州灵隐寺、昆明园艺世博园等重要工程的木雕设计与施工。代表作品有《益寿三友》、《京华正茂》、《芙蓉观音》、《九九归一》、《又绿江南》等。《富贵泽天下》被中国财税博物馆收藏。

Wang Xiangdong was born in Dongyang of Zhejiang, 1976. Being  “ Senior Industrial Artist” and “Zhejiang Arts and Crafts Master ”, he also has the membership of the Professional Committee of Woodcarving Art of China Arts and Crafts Society. He is honored as the model of the national light industry,  Jinhua Young Professional Expert, and he is the general manager of Zhejiang Dongyang Woodcarving Group Co., Ltd. as well as the director of Huang-style Woodcarving Research Institute in Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province. He has presided over or participated in the woodcarving design and construction of important projects such as the Great Hall of the People in Zhejiang Province, the Chongqing Municipal Party Hall, Tianjin Guest House, Shanghai Dongjiao State Hotel, Suzhou Dongshan State Hotel, Shanghai Jing’an Temple, Hangzhou Lingyin Temple, Kunming Horticultural Expo. His representative works include “Yi Shou San You”, “Jinghua Zhengmao”, “Furong Guanyin”, “Nine and Nine Return to One”, “Yu Lv Jiang Nan” and so on. “Fu gui Ze Tianxia” was collected by the China Finance and Taxation Museum.
